Amazed with the beauty of earth’s materialized creation, along with the physical sensation of crystals places around and topically on the body, Michael Crosby was inspired to merge acupuncture with stone medicine, which he referred to as LithoPuncture. As a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, Michael Crosby was originally introduced to the field of Chinese Medicine through the healing potentials that he experienced through stone medicine. He firmly believes that patients should have access to this form of treatment modality at home, even after an acupuncture session to continue ones’ recovery. Since it is unlikely that people are able to receive a daily or even weekly acupuncture session, creating a therapeutic regime using stone beads taped on acupuncture points offers continued healing that is safe and effective that health anyone can do, similar to the use of magnets that are placed on the body to conduct the intrinsic electric current running through the body for healing. LithoPuncture ignites similar effects through the chemical composition of stones (i.e., water and minerals) to affect the body (mostly water and minerals) in the acupuncture channels of the body.
